Runs lag-free on displays

I used 2 4k Thunderbolt monitors as advertised and used all USB ports, had no issues with mouse lag and this has been an issue with other docking stations.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Only available in white

Doesn't work with my iMac Pro

I think it's more of a Mac issue, but this document didn't help me. Nothing I plugged into the dock was recognized by my imac. In the end I thought it was the Thunderbolt 4 cable because I ended up getting a different TB4 dock and after switching to the TB3 cable I didn't have the kernel panic issues that I had with the TB4 cable. I like the LEDs, but I don't like how the computer port should be placed on the front of the unit. It's probably best suited to laptops in that regard.

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Almost never

One of the best docks

I have a collection of Thunderbolt docks, I hate them all. There's always some aspect that doesn't work properly, be it outgoing screen resolutions or USB hubs that don't look right. This is the first one I really liked and I really use it. I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020) and haven't had any deal breaker issues. From time to time it will hate the device I'm plugging in, but I've been working on it. I would still plan on using the power cord that came with the laptop if planning onโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Will write later

Does what needs to be done where others won't.

This is my first TB docking station that actually supports two external 4K 60Hz monitors simultaneously. I connected one directly via USB-C and the other via a USB-C/DisplayPort cable. There's also a USB3 dock, connected via the native USB3 ports on the rear panel. Everything works. Finally. ** UPDATED: One star deducted. After months of use, it gets EXTREMELY hot (like you can't get your hand on it) when using dual 4K full motion displays. So hot that the internal USB2.0 controller is dyingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Long Time

Works but has bugs compared to other Thunderbolt 4 docks

I bought this dock to use as an alternative dock for my work laptop and also to be able to connect it to my Mac Mini M1. When I connect my second monitor to this screen, I get a weird blurring effect on my Mac Mini M1 that doesn't go away when I unplug it. It started after a few days of use. Switching back to my CalDigit Dock works. In addition to these issues with my monitors related to my Mac Mini M1, one of the USB-A 3.2 Gen ports is not working when plugged in. Sometimes my peripheralsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Boring packaging

I have a Razer Chroma Dock for use with my 2018 Macbook Pro, primarily because the dock actually supports multiple Thunderbolt 4 displays. I don't actually have multiple Thunderbolt 4 displays, I have two portable USB-C monitors that I like to use with my laptop, and I thought it would be great if the USB-C monitors plugged into a docking station and only one Thunderbolt cable would be connected to the laptop. When I received the dock I was very disappointed to find that it didn't work wellโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Many things
