I think it's more of a Mac issue, but this document didn't help me. Nothing I plugged into the dock was recognized by my imac. In the end I thought it was the Thunderbolt 4 cable because I ended up getting a different TB4 dock and after switching to the TB3 cable I didn't have the kernel panic issues that I had with the TB4 cable. I like the LEDs, but I don't like how the computer port should be placed on the front of the unit. It's probably best suited to laptops in that regard.
