These shoes are about what I expected for the price. However, what I didn't expect was how big they are (so go down half a size) and how stretchy they are. They don't look like traditional shoes with structured ankles. They consist almost exclusively of elastic material, even in the ankle area. It's almost like wearing a sock with the sole glued at the bottom. That's fine as they make them VERY breathable and you won't get blisters on the back of your heel or possibly anywhere else. However, due to their design and materials, shoelaces hardly "tighten" the shoes when lacing them. That's why I advise taking shoes half a size smaller so that they fit snugly on the foot even with tied shoelaces. However, they look beautiful and will surely make people think that they are more expensive than they really are.
