Review on πŸ”¨ Stanley TR250 SharpShooter Heavy Duty Staple: Ultimate Stapling Solution for Heavy-Duty Projects by Chris Parrott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very satisfied good for nails

Since I have never bought a power tool, I read all the reviews on it before buying. I don't know much about staple guns, but I knew I didn't need an air gun. My goal was to upholster four dining room chairs and these fit perfectly. A few people have commented on the need to hammer in staples, and I actually had to do this with most staples (which is why I didn't give five stars). But for my purposes it was ok. Having never upholstered chairs, I had to do a bit of "reworking" to straighten the material after I had already stapled it in so the staples wouldn't go in so hard until I was ready to stand them up. . really worked better for me. I've noticed that if you really press down on the round, flat black thing at the top (I don't know what it's called) when stapling, the staple goes in better and there's less (or no) need to hammer it in. .Out of the 4 chairs I made and the hundreds of braces I braced, I only had about 3 braces that didn't go in perfectly and I had to pull them out and do it all over again. After several days of use, the stapler has never jammed. So if you are looking for a good mid-range stapler I think this is a great buy.
