Review on Seventh Generation 6-Pack Unbleached Paper Towels, 100% Recycled Paper by Monica Moore

I really liked this

I have been using the Viva brand but was looking for more sustainable paper towels. From the description they looked great. They are recycled and use no bleach. After use, they are not that hot. Pros: -Eco-friendly, sort of. more on that in the cons - Not too expensive - No chemicals to make them absorbent, so they're great for cleaning car windows without leaving a residue (most paper towels leave some, but you can just use newspaper to clean car windows too , and it cleans perfectly without stains) Disadvantages: -Badly torn. It's not easy to just tear off a sheet without leaving any part of the sheet - they fall apart easily. I seriously use them 3 or 4 times more than Viva paper towels. Viva was almost like cloth, so it didn't fall apart that easily. That negates the environmental benefits for me if I use them a lot more. To reduce waste I'll just end up trying to use more cleaning rags instead of looking for a better paper towel. In the long run it will probably be cheaper.

Pros
  • . Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
