From time to time I will feature a product in a review that I cannot find fault with. And this is one of them. I've tried so many mic systems that I'm honestly sick of them, but this one caught my attention. Let's go through a few basics as the video pretty much covers everything. So let's take a look at the main features. It has audio surveillance, which is very important for those with camera systems who choose to exclude it. It features channel separation between the mics, which comes in very handy when you need a backup or just need the left and right channels for interviews or whatever. USB Type-C charging is a delight, as is the mini LCD battery monitor. Having a built in monitor for each station is REALLY hard to find a feature that just makes that much sense. But that's actually all included. paper, and what you really want to know is how it sounds. To be honest, this is one of the cleanest, static-free sounds I've ever gotten from a wireless lav mic system. The sound is pretty basic and requires a bit of editing, but it's SUPER clean and easy to edit, which is the most important thing. Comica have created a fantastic compact microphone system that ticks all the boxes with an extremely thoughtful design. Bonus Fact: The clip on the back of the transmitter and receiver fits a 3/4 cold shoe mount on all cameras.
