I used this generic silicone boot to replace an old, rotten rubber boot on the ball joint drive shaft in my 1963 Plymouth Valiant. Worked great! This case will stretch slightly so you can thread it through the case (lube it so you don't tear it) without pushing out the center pin. Just make sure you first cut off the two large mounting rings on the case with a sharp pair of scissors. Much cheaper than reproduction boots and should last longer as they are silicone. I am very satisfied with this product!
