The new 65w AC adapter fits my Dell 5558 Inspiron laptop perfectly and charges my battery , as soon as I just connected him network. Hooray! I leave the 45W power adapter that came with my laptop for emergencies. My laptop needs 65W power. who knew Other than Dell? My battery stopped charging about a year after I bought it, so I had to keep it plugged in whenever I used it (what a burden). Also, the 45W power adapter is cut/cracked at the base of the outlet and it cuts power intermittently without warning. (What. A. DRAG!) I'm glad the 65W is on sale at Revain. I saved a lot of dollars compared to buying from Dell.
