Junk: Shelves and Holders

Why is every product on earth a piece of junk now? Is nobody proud of their work anymore? This thing came with no instructions, but it seemed pretty obvious what I needed to do. Remove the screw (why was it even there? The spare screw was just stuck in the foam. Why couldn't they do that with both screws?), insert the post into the base and put the screw back in. at the bottom. But I couldn't get the screw out because the metal thing it screwed into wasn't fixed in the stone. It just kept spinning and spinning while I tried to get the screw out. Finally, I pulled the metal thing out a bit (whatever it's called) and put some Krazy glue on top. It was still spinning. I pulled it all the way out easily, but the screw was still so hard to get out that I had to hold the metal thing with pliers. So I smeared glue all around the collar or thing and anywhere it might contact the stone and put it back in place. I was holding it while the glue was drying when it slipped out of my hands and shattered on the floor. "Well, it's not her fault," you might say. But that would never have happened if I hadn't tried to fix the piece of junk! If I spend $22 of hard-earned money on something, I don't expect to have to spend an hour trying to fix it, but either it does or I spend an hour trying to get it back, wasting resources in the process. I will contact the seller and request a refund. I strongly recommend that no one ever purchases this item. Their quality control is obviously so terrible that it's just not worth the risk.
