Like many others, I was surprised by the size of this palette, despite measuring and comparing it to another palette I have. However. . . . . It turned out to be the perfect size as I currently have all my essentials in one place except for the mascara and eyelash curler such as eyeshadow, eyeliner and applicator brushes and lipsticks. I added eyeshadows as the bottom of the palette is magnetized so you don't have to search for the perfect shade anymore. For the cake eyeliner, I use a black tint and a brown tint so they settle there as well. Let's see, eyebrow pencils, nude waterline eyeliner - EVERYTHING is included. Traveling is easy as I just slip my palette and a small case with foundation, foundation sponge, blush and blush brush, mascara and eyelash curler into my suitcase and I'm good to go. The convenience of having all products and tools in one place and anywhere I can see them saves a lot of time - no more digging around for the right color or the right tool. So I have a bit of OCD ("a little,” says my husband?!), but I just like being organized and ANYTHING that can save me time is even better. I don't think you can go wrong with this palette once you find that it's larger than most palettes, but in my opinion I'd rather have one big one than several to sift through to find what I need need. .
