***See updated review*** THIS IS GREAT! A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, OK, a lot $25 for 24 crayons. Although they are very cute. There is no wax buildup, they blend perfectly with the color and blend AMAZING! You keep a sharp edge. They are thicker than regular pencils which is even better as they help with tired hands and are also great for those of us with arthritis. I'm planning to buy other sets, I just want the price to be a little lower, so I'll have to wait for a sale. ******** UPDATE ********** I'M LESS IMPRESSED WITH THESE - THEY SHARPEN TERRIBLE AND BREAK CONSTANTLY (INNER CORE IS THIN FOR THE AMOUNT OF WOOD YOU USE. EVERY TIME I YOUR SHARP TIP JUST FALLS OUT OR I STILL GET THE WOODEN TIP BECAUSE THE CORE CONTINUES TO BREAK I have over 800 colored pencils and have NEVER been as hard as I am with them Sharpen it properly and no matter what type of sharpener you use it just wastes Fur the price they should be much better than they are the quality seems low which is a shame because they are so good at applying paint that i know the maker of this and not just this set as i bought the basic set and for sure have the same problem and i returned it not sure if i can return as its only been about a month i hope they read the reviews and contact me i can just email send the company headquarters if Amazon can't get it right. Too bad I didn't use them much more before I wrote my first review as I might have found out before spending a crappy ton of money on another set. They have not been dropped or damaged in any way. The jar was sealed, the box it came in was well packed. I really think this is a production issue - I really hope they can help with this. I CANNOT TELL MORE ABOUT THE PRICE AND WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. YOU SEE THESE PROBLEMS WITH CHEAP PENCILS.
