The instructions accompanying the manual suggest placing the light closer to the leading edge for better light spread. My old headlights were in the rear and when I removed them I found large holes in the tile backing plate. This is not a lighting issue but should be considered when planning the installation. When I installed the new lights there was a visible hole in the wall exposing the molex wire. I had to build a special small sub under the cabinet to hide the hole and wire. The included strain relief is larger in diameter than the thickness of the canopy, so it's still open and ugly. The lights don't have cutouts in the middle, only on the ends, so I had trouble stretching the wire a few times. The lights must be taken apart to access the mounting screws and they do NOT just snap back together. The lights are crowded inside, so plugging in the molex and plugging in all the connectors makes assembly even more difficult; especially when there are two wires (for downward light on the same circuit). I decided to be patient and finish the install but I will NEVER buy this design again.
