Review on 🔮 NZXT AER RGB 2 120mm Fan with Advanced Lighting Customizations and Fluid Dynamic Bearing - Black by Corey Burgess

Purchased to control multiple fans. For me it controls the speed of (6) 3-wire fans (2 per channel) so well. All 6 are controlled by CPU temperature (via USB) with 3 different configurable fan control profiles. It occupies a full dual USB port on the motherboard. I can remount it so that it only uses 1/2 the USB port as it only needs one of the two USB ports per port. My only real complaint about why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that it creates an unnecessarily large amount of unexplained network traffic. The documentation says you can disable this activity in the settings, but that turned out to be not entirely true. However, this activity could easily be disabled using Windows Firewall. Disabling this current network activity was easy and didn't change their working behavior. It also controls the LED lighting, but I can't comment on that as I don't use that feature. I will buy another one for the second car.
