I really wanted to enjoy and use this portable table, but so far I haven't found the right place to make it a convenient option for reading books or working on my laptop. Got my first one as a gift but had to send it back because the table was badly scratched, the easel wouldn't close and the legs didn't work. It looked like a table that had been used by a previous customer and returned before it was shipped to me. The second table arrived as advertised - all working parts and no scratches - so I started using it but hadn't found the right fit after four weeks. After several attempts with an easel, I gave up this feature because the shelf didn't feel secure enough to hold my laptop or deep enough to hold open books. Now I use the table as a flat surface and often with the legs folded in so I don't have to worry about them falling on me. The drawer isn't deep or wide enough for real storage, so I don't use it. I keep experimenting and I think I'll find a good combination, but so far none of the arrangements have worked. Overall it's nice but not practical.
