EDIT - I received a second pair of these jeans today after the last pair having a crazy amount of loose strings I went ahead and tried one more time. I am extremely happy that I did, the second pair are totally free of loose strings aside from two by the zipper that can be trimmed with no bad effect to the pants. I tried them on so the sizes definitely seem to be regulated as the last pair and this one both fit me basically the same way. They are stretchy and soft and feel like a sturdy enough pair of jeans they seem like they will last a good amount of time. I am happier with this purchase now and I have upped from 3 to 4 stars.I got these in today and immediately tried to put them on! Tried.I had to trim a string that is sewn in on one side of one of the flared bottom, and also sewn into another side, so it crossed the opening of the pants and caught my toes painfully before I trimmed it. I turned the pants inside out and there are quite a few strings, one bundle of which looks like it actually compromises the integrity of the cloth, which just means they may fall apart rather quickly. I am 5'6" 160ish pounds and the size 10 fit me well, I just wish there wasn't an issue on the inside of the pants.
