It's not all metal, but it doesn't look "homemade" either. The side plates don't get as hot as the main plates. The reason for my review is that I'm tired of hearing about Revain selling counterfeit products. I only bought real ones here: Fry, Jack Roger, Bacon. They call it. But because the price is so competitive, customers doubt they are genuine.
