I rarely leave product reviews but this product made me so angry and made me swear by so many 4 letter words that I had to say something. This is absolutely the worst product for your car. They come on those applicator pads that make an even application impossible without smudges or streaks. After curing, the substance becomes very sticky and will stick to fingerprints or microfiber fibers, so be careful. Then when fully cured it becomes very hard, blotchy, streaky, uneven, hard like glass. It doesn't matter if you apply it to rough or smooth plastic, it will spread unevenly and cure into an unsightly mess. It's just more noticeable on smooth plastic. The instructions that came with the product are totally inadequate. I tried many ways to smooth out the product to make it look more even. Tried applying extra light coats and wiping with shop towels - doesn't work. I've tried wiping it hard with a microfiber cloth but it doesn't help. I tried buffing with a buffing machine and a cotton swab - it doesn't work. Tried to use a polish - does not help. The only solution seems to be to use high grit sandpaper, sand the surface until smooth, and then try to repair the broken plastic surface. I am now looking for a solution to restore the finish to my worn/sanded plastic fairing before giving up and taking it to a professional shop to have it restored. A huge waste of time and money and a great way to ruin a finish. your car. What should have been the finishing touch of a great detail job turned into a nightmare and ruined my weekend.
