Grab this deal, it's amazing. The fingerprint scanner is cool with a built in screen protector, but I blame the more accurate fingerprint scanner tech, not the case. Again. If you want your fingerprint scanner to work, just use the part of the case without the built-in screen protector and the BAM problem is solved! They've thought about it, but other competitors haven't.
