Have you ever used an awl and stabbed yourself oh my god it's so beautiful. Well, with one of these sponges, you don't have to worry about that. These little ones are about 2 inches thick and have a small body to withstand an awl. Don't get me wrong, they are great for both embellishment and stamping. The sponges in this pack are enough for the last year of a very busy master. Tandy had a sponge that was a bit stiffer and smaller but worked well. This sponge works better. Multitools are good when you can find them, this is one of them.
