Review on Apple Magic Keyboard Wireless Keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9" by Michal Michal ᠌

I am very upset, the product is no good.

The benefits of having a permanently strapped keyboard and trackpad completely destroy the plasticity of using a tablet. For a day: from the craziest interest to complete disgust. This is despite the fact that I like to use an ipad with bluetooth peripherals and an external monitor at the table. Magic Keyboard “locks” into some fixed uncomfortable position of the body, like behind a tiny laptop (I don’t really like laptops, maybe that’s why I didn’t like the case so much). If you need such a keyboard, you probably just need a laptop. Only buy if you're typing 24/7 away from home and don't have the ability to carry and connect third-party peripherals. It's just that the absurdly expensive price of this accessory does not allow treating it optionally: it's inconvenient - I immediately sold it.

Pros
  • I didn't find them.
Cons
  • Personally, it seemed mercilessly uncomfortable to me: in such a design, the brushes are cramped and the keys themselves are too low. There are no function keys. On the weight and on the knees, the elasticity of the base is felt, which spoils the impression, considering how heavy and bulky the keyboard is. Crazy expensive. And in general, I realized that in such a case the whole concept of ipad breaks down. I gladly got rid of the magic keyboard.

I have never regretted the purchase, even with its shortcomings.
