Review on 🐾 Convenient Tan Pet Gear Extra Wide Easy Step II Pet Stairs: A User-Friendly Solution for Your Pet's Mobility! by Monica Williams

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slippery, sloping, makes it difficult for the dog to use.

I like the overall design but why are they purposely so difficult to use for a dog? I have an 85# dog and he uses this company's products but with difficulty. It's a subtle choice for these types of products. Why is carpet so slippery? I've seen this in other reviews but thought it was only problematic for lighter dogs but it's a slippery time, it might as well be made from a banana peel. And why did the ladder tip down, especially since it's slippery? But for those 2 things this would be a 5 star product. It's strong and light enough to carry from car to house etc. My boyfriend still likes to jump on it so I hold it with my foot when I get in or out of the car - no problem but knowing he can use it regularly on stairs without jumping why not regular ones, build level stairs? The only way to capitalize on this was to add non-slip sticks for outdoor use. Pretty cheap solution. I walked up the stairs for weeks but left an inch wide gap at the far end of the stairs and eventually found that my dog was struggling with that remaining inch of slippery carpet. I covered that inch with non-slip material and it works much better.

Pros
  • Wider and deeper stairwells for medium to large dogs
Cons
  • Durability
