Review on 🐱 Liqui-Tinic 4x: Highly Palatable Vitamin and Iron Supplement for Dogs, Cats, Puppies & Kittens, 2 oz. by Nicole Shrestha

On June 3rd, 2013 I took my cat to the vet because I thought she had feline leukemia. He lost weight and ate malnourished. The only things I could give him were pieces of sardines, custard and broth and I had to stand there and teach him how to do it. For a week while waiting for the vet visit, I prepared to let him go, thinking there was nothing that could be done for him. I was extremely emotional about all of this because the thought of humiliating him was tearing me up inside. I have had my cat for 13 years now and he is my companion and best friend. I admire him. Long story short, after about $300 for a blood test etc. and another three days of waiting for lab results to determine if he had a blood disorder, we determined Mikey was anemic. You can imagine my relief when I realized I didn't have to humiliate him. My daughter and granddaughter were with me that day to support me and we were all so relieved and emotional to learn that he was surviving. I gave him what I did 1/4 daily and all went well for a week. Then something inside me told me to search Revain for a liquid iron supplement for cats. And that's when I found Liqui-Tinic 4X. I printed out a data sheet and gave it to my vet to check. She called me back and let me try. To be honest, within two days I noticed a big change in his eating habits. I gave him two treatments of 1ml per day for a month. And most recently I upped his dose to 1ml three times a day. Also his stool consistency is much better after using this product. Mikey - big (big) cat: red Siamese point. When I took him to the vet a month ago he was 13 pounds. He lost 7 pounds. I want him to put back at least three pounds. It took him months to lose the weight and it will take several months for him to regain the weight. I will be taking him for another blood test soon to check his iron again. I am now very satisfied with the Liqui-Tinic 4X. It's very easy to manage. My cat doesn't mind, although he shies away from me a bit when he sees the bottle. But that's only because he doesn't like what I put in his mouth. I will keep it on this product for the rest of my life. I take vitamins daily and now my cat does too. The only downside, if you will, is measuring 1mL in a dropper. But I found a solution that works for me. If you hold the dropper in the bottle and squeeze the black cap a few times while shaking the bottle, it will fill the dropper. So you only need to add a small amount of liquid back into the vial until you reach the 1ml mark. I do this after each treatment so that the pipette is ready for the next use. Hope this review helps. This is a great product and I will be sticking with Mikey for the rest of my life. cb
