I do not recommend using this product if you have it on a temporary basis. The quality of the plastic is thick and transparent. If you leave it on forever, it might work better for you. But since I pull my headliner down every day, eventually pulling the velcro will tear the headliner from the back panel it is attached to and then the headliner will sag. Luckily I have rails on my roof that I can put plastic under to support it from above. The velcro didn't even last long enough to reattach the plastic before it started falling off the headliner without using pins. But even if you use pins, they will also come loose over time if you pull them down like I will do on a daily basis. The plastic has also come loose from the Velcro fasteners in some places. I ended up just slipping mine under the grille on the ceiling and pushing the plastic to the sides. Serves its purpose but looks tacky.
