I was incredibly excited about this product. I just installed my vacuum duster truck for my woodworking workshop and bought this product to make dust collection a breeze. The product itself works perfectly, there are no complaints about its work. However, I strongly recommend not using it with a tool that uses an electronic brake (most newer miter saws) or a soft start router. My router failed after using this product once and is now not performing at full capacity. My new Bosch miter saw is currently being serviced for an electric brake repair as this switch caused internal damage. Because? When you turn on the tool, the cleaner will turn on about half a second after you turn on the tool. With many tools, this happens mid-process when they reach their full potential. When the vacuum is turned on, it draws current that makes the instrument vibrate unless you connect two separate wires to two separate circuits (which very few people have access to). This fluctuation, caused by a voltage drop, can disturb the operation of the tool, especially in environments where accurate voltage and current are required for operation (e.g. soft start functions, electric brakes, etc.). All in all, I really wanted this to work and can still use it for a few other applications that don't require hundreds of dollars in other tools.
