Usually Tetra products are pretty good but this one completely ruined my tank when I did it used. I noticed that my nitrate levels were higher than normal so I decided to give this product a try. When I poured it into my shot, it almost came out in "dribbles" even after shaking it for about 3 minutes. The next day I noticed a large sediment at the bottom of my aquarium. I vacuumed the tank, changed the water and waited a few days to see if she came back - it didn't. I used the product again and had the same problem. After reading some other reviews it turned out that others had the same problem. I contacted Tetra and sent them photos of the product that went into the tank and asked the rest if I was doing something wrong or if there was a problem with the product. They basically said it wasn't their product that was causing the problem and tested my water. I never had a problem with my tank until using this product so I see no point in wasting time testing my water. I don't know if I'm more disappointed with the product or their lack of help (or concerns) with their customer service. I would have expected guidance if I misuse the product rather than complete denial of an issue, even after submitting photos.
