Review on 💨 High-Speed Ethernet Cable - 10 Ft Length for Uninterrupted Connectivity by Tone Hatton

I bought this CAT 8 cable to speed up my Mac Mini and ended up wanting to replace all my CAT 6 cables with these CAT 8 cables. Before replacing it, I ran three speed tests using the Ookla speed test. The results of the three tests I ran with my existing CAT 6 cable were as follows: The three tests I ran with my new CAT 8 cable: 1) 716Mbps upload, 17.8Mbps /s upload 2) 715 Mbit/s upload/s, download 17.7 Mbit/s3) download 713 Mbit/s, download 17.4 Mbit/s. CAT 8 cable where the results were more consistent than CAT 6. I decided to do an additional 4th test with CAT 8 cable and the results still showed a lower download value of 682Mbps while the Download stayed at 17.7 Mbit/s. While the cable is not as blue as the website shows, it is still different than the boring gray Cat 6 cable and the gold plated RJ45 connector does NOT match the cable shown on the website. I decided to keep it anyway. because I didn't feel like dealing with another Revain comeback, especially during all this COVID and holiday bullshit. So save a few bucks if you're planning on upgrading from CAT 6 to CAT 8 as there really isn't a difference in speed or material quality, but still a nice blue CAT 8 cable completes my setup.
