I use this for my Surface Pro3 Dock and it's the perfect height and width. Advantages: - very durable! It doesn't budge when I try to shake it and its extension legs fit perfectly with no extra room - lots of surface area! I can attach my docking system and three pen holders to the stand - the open storage space at the bottom means no wasted space due to drawer size; I can do whatever I want underneath! The Flat Stand itself is reinforced on the bottom so that even heavy monitors fit in. Cons: I wish the front and back edges weren't slightly curved. This is more of an aesthetic opinion and I have to say that there is extra space in the corners on the wall for easier threading of cables. If you're looking for a basic stand for your monitor or other docking system, this is a great contender!
