While these may not be the most expensive braces, they are sufficient for my use. I ordered three sets for my wedding so didn't want to invest in a very expensive pair. The mounts aren't very heavy, but they seem to do the trick. The elastic is nice and wide so they don't look cheap and the center back has synthetic material for reinforcement. The charcoal color looks rich and is exactly what I expected for the color and size. The nice thing was that I could order one size for two boys aged 4 and 5 and they also came in a matching infant size. That was an advantage for me as it is a wedding and we want all three boys to be dressed alike. Often two such different sizes cannot be found and you have to buy something else for the baby. I was happy to find the right braces and not spend a fortune. I would recommend them and buy them again knowing they won't be worn daily for years.
