I bought some of these for my son when he was about 10 months old. I bought the smaller size too. He loves them both. They are easy for him to grasp and he loves to bounce them. Before he started walking he would push them and chase them around the house. For his first birthday we decided to put the smaller version in the goodies bags for the other little kids (all around 10-12 months) and the other moms have told me their kids are obsessed with them too.
