Bright enough and can be really surface mounted

Can't comment on durability but they are bright enough that you can actually surface mount them. While it's not specifically designed to allow wires to exit from the side rather than through a hole in the back, a quick modification allows you to do this with something as simple as a file.

Pros

Can be used as brake turn signal tail light The turn signal light comes with three wires, high low brightness; You can use them in any application: left, right, front, rear, roof, truck bed.
