Review on BRILLRAYDO 3W LED Light Picture Lamp Fixture: Flexible Pipe Design, Button Plug-in, White Finish, Warm White Illumination by Timothy Spinner

I ordered this to light up a framed painting I just bought. After a lot of effort he does it. But I would think long and hard about buying another one. One thing: I'm not an artist. I just want to shed some light on this. My biggest concern is the wiring inside the case. See photos. This includes 120VAC with a small wire, all crammed into the confined space where the screws and mounting bracket sit. Open; there is no cover over this wire. The only way to secure it is with a mount. The bracket is not aligned with the bottom of the case. That means there is a 1/16 inch gap between the bottom of the bracket and the bottom of the case. That means you can't push the mount hard against the wall when installing: to put the screws back in, the base of the mount needs to be loose enough that it can somehow be pulled out to cover that distance. Trial and error method. And when you reattach the case to the bracket, be careful not to pinch any wires. Good luck with it. ! Oh, and it's not a grounded plug either (For me, since the second ground screw was down and I couldn't see the hole, I gave up after ten minutes and just used one screw.) • Side mounted, white plastic covered gooseneck, quite firm and flexible, doesn't seem to move after installation. Let's see if it moves with time. • They are supplied with two screws and anchors for the wall plate. • It weighs approximately 7.1 ounces. • Approximately 4,000 lumens of light at 16 inches (warm white). • Focus beam approx. 7" x 16", light up to 14". • The power cord is 66 inches long. • There is an on/off switch. Bottom line: My 7" x 9" print is well lit from 16" away. But again, for $19 next time I'd look at alternatives. Hope the fuse doesn't blow.
