I was having a really hard time cutting organic cotton and ended up having to buy some special scissors as even those cute little scissors didn't work. However, I kept them in my essential tool box in the living room because they are great handy little scissors that cut through everything else. They're very sharp, they cut fabric, although I've mainly used them to cut through plastic packaging. They are well made and the way they fold is really cool. I can also slip a few in my purse. They have replaced all my old dull scissors. I don't sew, but these would be good sewing scissors. I also like, that they're really small, with a thin tip, so I can cut things like tightly packed batteries and shrink-wrapped pizza lol. You get into hard-to-reach places, that's what I mean. It would be great for a survival kit. And there are four for a great price, as much as it pains me to lose a few, I'd still have backups.
