These are perfect for cutting thread if needed. Definitely handy for my sewing projects when I need to cut threads and change colors frequently. I can't tell you how impressed I am with these little scissors. I absolutely love the $8 pack of scissors lol but having gotten many different folding scissors modeled exactly like this they are the top of faaar's range.
