Further than I expected.

It all started when I was looking for a simple solution to my gaming needs, I needed a display that didn't include any "smart" features or needed a Wi-Fi connection, something simple. This display caught my attention and I decided to take the plunge and order it. My order arrived very quickly, the packaging is very nice for the product, but that's not a problem. I'm a very demanding customer and I always want products to work as advertised, which isn't always the case, so I ran a few tests right away to see what was possible and what wasn't. My first impression of the display was good. I received one with a beautiful metallic color that I liked at first sight. It has an aluminum body and comes with a 'smart cover' that allows you to stand on the display while using it. It's made of plastic with a "leather" feel, similar to Italian soft leather. (laughs) The display is well built, feels sturdy and lightweight at the same time, which is an oddity. The only minor issue is that the settings and power buttons feel a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the display, but that shouldn't be seen as a deal breaker. All cables that come with the product are required, so I recommend taking care of them. My first test was with my phone. I connected my Galaxy Note 10 and the Samsung Dex runs very smoothly, it's worth noting that your phone can power the display (in my experience it drains 10% of the phone's battery every 30 minutes, at least on a phone like the Note 10 ) . ) The display runs at a lower resolution to save power, but the picture is very acceptable, but using your phone's "PC mode" like the Dex is very nice, so there are some good points in this part . Just remember that your phone must have a fully functional USB-C to connect to this or any other display. My main reason for buying it was to play, so my second surprise came when my PS4 found out that this display supports HDR, giving me a very clean visual output after some tweaking. Didn't expect that again, another good point. To turn on the display when using it with a Fame console, I connected a USB-to-USB-C cable to one of the PS4's USB ports, and the power output is more than enough to power this versatile fellow to supply electricity. I would also like to note that the display does not overheat and does not heat up after prolonged use, which also surprised me. My third test, and the last in the "holy trinity" of devices (phone, game console, and PC) was to connect this bad boy to my laptop. It works fine but I wouldn't recommend it for people who need great color rendering like photo editing or applications that require color accuracy as the display looks amazing and is configurable but it's not designed for that purpose and I doubt it will Graphics pros would pay attention to it at this price point, but more than adequate for any other purpose, and at least in my testing there were no problems with it. So what I like, I liked the build quality, except for the power and settings buttons which btw I felt a bit uncomfortable when using it as the settings button has a pointed end and you have to press it every time you make adjustments, but as I mentioned earlier this is not a deal breaker, maybe it's just me. The feel and weight are perfect for those who want to take it with them on the go, the picture when connected to a phone or game console is very clean and beautiful, so I would say I am happy with this product. It has everything you need to get the job done and it's easy to use with plenty of connectivity options. If you want to connect to any device via HDMI (remember to sue a dirty cable as the monitor has a "mini-HDMI” port, but you have two USB-C ports, one full Feature rich and a headphone jack Speakers not powerful but not a problem for me but if you want a louder and clearer sound then I think you need to connect an external speaker as the speakers are good but don't deliver a powerful and clear sound, they do can be considered the weakest point For my purposes it is a very good product for the price and finally it comes with a huge screen protector which is welcome but so difficult to apply that it would be good to consider the company would ship this product - installed Maybe Smart The cover is simple and works as intended, hence gi bt no complaints here so I'm glad it worked as advertised and exceeded my expectations. I love it.
