Received mine today and tried to put my Macbook Pro 2015 Retina 15.6" laptop on XTOP and I felt it didn't make the laptop safe and not that I felt like it was going to slip out of the XTOP's laptop mount, rather the XTOP itself started to bend under the weight of the laptop.I feel cheated because that's what it looked like in the photos , like it's made of strong metal but, I open the box and it's just cheap plastic that doesn't support the weight it's supposed to weigh in. The description says it will hold laptops up to 16" and up can carry up to 8 lbs. My laptop is about 4.5 lbs and I definitely don't feel like I can get out of my seat with my laptop holding this thing tight. I think if it had shoulder straps it would make more sense to have that MacBook but unfortunately my search for a laptop seat belt that can carry the Macbook continues.
