Very smart and beautiful!
I am very happy with this little scissor case. Everyone I showed it to was mesmerized by how it looks like a solid wooden box, but then magically slides apart to reveal stratified layers. It's both beautiful and functional. The magnets in mine appear to be stuck firmly. The magnets have to be strong to hold the layers of wood together, but I had no problem opening mine. I think the secret is instead of trying to lift the lid or the stacked layers, just hold the bottom of the box and slide or fan the top off as shown in one of the pictures. Once pulled apart, they can be easily separated if desired.
