Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Performance with Mophorn Magnetic Drilling Spindle Electric by Nick Cleary

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is an inexpensive magnetic drill for light duty applications.

This magnetic drill cuts through most mild steel and offers a quick and accurate solution compared to a standard hand drill and hole saw. My experience: 1. The drill needs time to cool down between drill sets. I usually drill 10 holes and let them cool for twenty minutes before moving on to the next set.2. Be careful with the rack and pinion as it tends to allow for a bit of vibration when you start a new hole. The lubrication system uses a non-pressurized system, so removing all fluids is a must for short and long-term storage, even overnight. Also, there are two screws on the cup that can be easily removed and tightened before use. Customer support is almost non-existent or non-existent and you need to understand the basic principles of a magnetic drilling system to avoid safety issues or catastrophic failures!
