I was a Boy Scout in the 80's and had an active lifestyle for many years after that. I have used a variety of tents, my favorite at a ridiculously small size while weighing next to nothing It assembles very, very solidly and stands on its own which means it can be used on things like truck bodies or indoors when you're giving kids camp adventures " in the living room The bars are all connected with bungee cords and are effectively a single bar with inner sleeves, not outer sleeves. The poles don't slip into the pockets, the tent itself only uses hooks to attach to the poles. It's absurdly simple and quick. It holds up well in the wind, ties up well, has pockets and a roof hook for a lamp etc. I'm about 6ft right now and it fits in really well. My youngest son is 6 feet The uts are 2 inches and are a bit narrow. t, though it can easily be comfortable at an angle. This tent is worth every penny I paid for it, absolutely no regrets. Would I buy again? Yes. In a moment. I'm glad I took the risk of buying this tent as it compares and in almost every way outperforms and builds tents that cost more than twice the price of this one. Are there any improvements? Yes, although they are minor and some are just on the wish list as this tent surpasses any previous tent I have ever owned in terms of build quality, lightness and ease of setup. What can be improved, in order of importance: 1 . I want him to come with a lead. I was lucky enough to come across this tent which is just the right size with pole grommets that make it work like it was made specifically for this tent. I would happily pay the extra money to include the correct size (83 x 36 or 210mm x 90mm) rather than guessing. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FTH91JG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=12. There is a stretch loop at the "foot end" of the body where the top of the frame with the shorter legs ends. I suppose it helps with stability but the design doesn't really require it. Meanwhile, there is no one at the "head end” of the tent. It would be better if there were tension loops at the base of the feet and at the top of the body to pull the fabric away from the inner walls of the tent and prevent it from flapping in the wind. I will change this myself, but I strongly recommend that the manufacturer do so. This is by no means a deal breaker, but it can significantly improve performance for very little money. I would recommend everyone to do this to prevent fly condensation from seeping through the inner walls of the tent (although the bottom of the tent is a waterproof floor high enough that this is generally not a problem). 3a. The lobby is good. however designed almost from the inside out. The most egregious problem is there is no two-way zip, making opening and closing the tent from the inside more of a nuisance than it should be. I'd say they have it Sewn inside out, but then it would be difficult to open and close from the outside. a bit awkward to open/close, especially from the inside. A security flap that zips from the inside and is oversized would have been more desirable and would have eliminated the need for velcro, giving a better water and wind barrier than just an outside flap. .four. The tariffs offered are the cheapest. This is another area where something as cheap as this would be a massive upgrade to the overall set and would be greatly appreciated: https://www.amazon.com/Stakes%EF%BC%8C7075-Aluminum%EF%BC%8CBoden. -Stakes%EF%BC%8CGarden-Stakes%EF%BC%8CGGround-Reflective/dp/B08SJ64591/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=alluminum+tent+stakes&qid=1634594045&s=sporting-goods&sr=1-13 Sounds bad? It's not like this. i'm picky Will they be very welcome improvements? Yes, but they're by no means necessary, and you'll find very few tents that cost a lot more (made of cheaper materials) and don't have them (or are just as badly made; that's the nature of cheap foreign manufacture, I suppose). Overall rating: 9/10 I would buy again at any time.
