There are many good things as described by other reviewers. They need not be repeated here. But what is particularly important to me. Engineers forgot to provide holes for microphones! This leads to poor, distorted sound quality and low recording volume. Also, the connecting strap that holds the keyboard to the case frame (which holds the iPad) is bulky and not really necessary as there's a powerful magnet holding the keyboard in place. If they add holes for microphones it will be a very good and inexpensive case. To me, it's relatively useless in its current form. Good keyboard. Update: I spent about an hour removing the connection strap and cutting holes for the mics. The result is a case that no longer interferes with audio recording, is quick to put on and take off, and allows me to easily hold the iPad in one hand for reading/browsing. I like it. Now 3 stars because I had to do all these modifications to get it right. If you know how to use a pocket knife and drill and have the time and patience to remake this sheath, buy it. It's really sturdy, the keyboard is good and only $30. I reported the closed mics to the seller and received a full refund. I think it ends well, everything's fine!?
