Photo switch/button won't turn on

Update: I have my new selfie stick and can't wait to use it. Thank you for contacting me and sending me a new one and I am very happy with the new working selfie stick. Excellent customer service and satisfaction. Was glad to receive this product only to open it up and find the little photo switch button doesn't work and I'm sure there is a battery inside but it doesn't turn on with a 'long press'. within 3 seconds." Will return. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
