I received the product just 2 days ago yesterday and got to work to help cut out some windows in an old AMT 1/650 18 Star Trek Enterprise set , you know it's notorious for its weak, flimsy plastic, among other things. So I was surprised to see that after using this tool for half an hour to create nice rectangular windows, some corners just weren't cut square. You can see why in the attached photo. The edge of the blade is uneven and jagged. Honestly I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect and it came out of the box like this or if the durability is so poor the edge was damaged by the cheap thin Chipped off the plastic on the model, but that doesn't change the fact that this blade is now unusable for the job I needed it for. with a hex set screw that requires a hex wrench (included) to loosen and tighten. After tightening, the blade does not swing. If you want to improve this product (beyond better quality blades) I would recommend getting rid of the hex set screw and replacing it with something you don't need to find another. Tool for changing the blades on this tool. Or at least include a hex wrench that can be stored in the handle of the tool.
