Great chisels for beginners.

Get this before you buy expensive ones. It's great to get started and practice writing. Start using them on these $7 model sets to get a feel for these chisels. Or you can use them on pla sheets. I still use them from time to time, although I'm switching to more expensive ones.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • -

I was quite surprised by these Chinese markers, they work and they work very well. I'm happy with my purchase but will definitely spend an arm and a leg on BMC markers. Def would still recommend them to people on a budget. You don't have to spend a lot of money to make your model kits look good, G Studio is proof of that.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Not a very good set, overpriced

Blades are not very good quality, each worked poorly (jumped out of line when using a metal ruler on plastic with light pressure) and on closer inspection the blades looked dull and I did had to sharpen a bit with a stone to make them work like they should work without packaging. The handle feels good but is definitely overpriced as you have to sharpen each blade to get proper use of it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Disappointing quality

I received the product just 2 days ago yesterday and got to work to help cut out some windows in an old AMT 1/650 18 Star Trek Enterprise set , you know it's notorious for its weak, flimsy plastic, among other things. So I was surprised to see that after using this tool for half an hour to create nice rectangular windows, some corners just weren't cut square. You can see why in the attached photo. The edge of the blade is uneven and jagged. Honestly I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
