But not bad.

This is a very early review. I received my K&F S210 78 tripod 2 days ago and have been testing it at home for quite some time. As you can see from the photos, I'm using a large telephoto lens (Tamron 150-600 g2) and a Nikon D5300 camera. So the tripod immediately feels secure. By that I mean I'm not afraid of my camera falling, as I once did. However, this is not ideal.1. The center column is not perfectly centered. I used a bubble level to test this as I saw someone complaining about this in another review. And it's really a bit off when it's fully extended and resting on metal spikes, but not by much and at least to me it doesn't matter very much, but I know some people who wouldn't like it.2. Panning should be much better. The button does not adjust the head resistance. Basically, it can be pivoted or not. I tried fine-tuning this knob and the movement just got "bumpy" as if something had its head pinched, but no more. There is no actual control over how tight the panning is.3. The plate must also be tightened VERY much. In fact, I was afraid that I might damage the lens barrel because if I didn't tighten it very firmly with the supplied Allen key, it would come loose after a few minutes. Also, I'd love to see the pin that fits into the grooves on the lens base so it doesn't rotate if the platen is a bit loose (I hope you get what I mean. Even in my native language I don't know how to explain this ok) But, and I'm really serious, I really like this tripod. The issues I mentioned earlier are immaterial to me and as long as I feel this tripod is stable and secure, that's all that matters to me. I plan to take it on tour in a few days and test it in different conditions. If anything comes up, I'll update this review.

Pros
  • Portable: tripod weight 1.44 kg (3.17 lbs) and maximum loading weight 10 kg (22 lbs). 78 inches tall and easy to carry. This tripod can make it the best companion for your DSLRs and withstand higher loads than similar products, but still stable.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
