This bag is just beautiful. It came in a cotton storage bag with a wax sealed note. The leather is excellent quality, very thick and heavy (think Patricia Nash bags), with beautiful finishes. This is a wallet that will only get better with age (and some care) as the leather softens over time. The shoulder strap is adjustable which I like as I like to wear my handbag on my shoulder sometimes and crossbody sometimes. It closes with a drawstring (also in leather) and has a zipped inner compartment as well as a zipped pocket for items that might need extra security. All fittings are made of brass, the lining is made of cotton with the inscription "Made in Italy". Despite its weight, I find this bag very comfortable to carry. The design is absolutely timeless and goes well with both my jeans and my dress. I can't say enough good things about this bag and it comes from a handbag fanatic who has way too many (according to my husband at least). Overall, this is a great, well-made bag that's comfortable to wear. wear. I would definitely order it again and can only recommend it.
