My friends and I use this for DnD sessions. Three of us are seated at the table, two of us are joining online via Discord from out of state. In the past they often didn't participate because the laptop mic wasn't very good and at their side mixed all our voices together. We got this mic as a budget solution and while I haven't heard it from them personally, they say it's a lot better as it can pick us all up equally when placed in the middle of a table and not be as overpowered ... when we get loud. So for this simple purpose it works fine.
