If liquid metal comes to your mind try this one first

I have an Alienware R17R4 with 1080, decent GPU but not in a laptop, it heats up to 90 degrees under heavy use. One of my research areas is deep learning, which requires a good GPU to train a model. This wasn't possible on my laptop because the laptop went to 90 degrees immediately as soon as I ran the tutorial script and a minute later it just crashed and showed the blue screen of death (once I had to reinstall windows because it was one of the following caused the Windows boot files). I'm also a casual gamer who enjoys playing Warzone with my friends and the same thing happens, Blue Screen of Death after 10-15 minutes of heavy GPU use. I bought Corsair thermal paste from BestBuy which will help (I read that Dell uses cheap thermal paste on their products and decided to try it), no improvement at all. The laptop was pretty much useless for what I wanted to use, and I was planning on just getting a desktop, but I didn't want to pay for an overpriced GPU. A friend recommended Liquid Metal to me, but after some research I found it quite risky and didn't want to lose my only computer with a "decent" GPU. Decided to try this before considering liquid metal and wow im impressed with the results. 70 degrees with heavy load on both GPU and CPU, it's still hot but not so much considering it's a laptop. In any case, the laptop is now as powerful as a 1080 desktop and I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend you try it before considering liquid metal.
