I recently bought an LG UHD 4K TV to replace a 10 year old Samsung that was starting to have problems. Got it home, hooked it up and was a little disappointed with the picture and performance. Pictures weren't as clear or sharp as they should have been, there was some jitter at times and the audio was okay. Assuming it was a problem with the TV, I investigated what could be wrong. Disabled a number of features on the TV such as TruMotion, image smoothing, energy saving, etc. and the pictures have at best improved somewhat. I contacted my cable company's tech support to see if it was a cable issue and it wasn't. I've checked and rechecked the settings on my AVR (Pioneer) to see if there's anything I could change there to help, but no luck. I was about to box up the TV and send it back but realized that all my HDMI cables were at least 5 years old and decided to buy a new version to see if that would help. I took the Monster UHD 4K Gold series cables, replaced all my old ones and voila, the TV looks amazing and so does the sound! Haven't had them in a very long time so can't comment on durability or reliability but as this is a monster product I don't expect any issues. I'll add that I bought them regular at the local Big Box store for less than half what they cost here, so it's definitely worth shopping there. If I run into any problems in the future I will update this comment.
