Review on Xprite Offroad Reverse Polaris Vehicle Lights & Lighting Accessories for Accent & Off Road Lighting by Jeremy Rodriguez

Very bright. Very impressive!

I chose this particular light panel because of the different types of LEDs. I'm telling you, it's very bright - even in direct sunlight. Other light bars I've looked at use lower quality LEDs that work well as long as you're looking directly at them. These are much more forgiving and just plain brighter. It wasn't available on Prime when I got it, but it was definitely worth the wait. We often ride ATVs with my young kids at some of the local ATV parks. Of course, their cars are a lot slower than most, so I wanted to install taillights to warn oncoming traffic of potential danger. I also stopped by to help some people and it would definitely help to have some warning signs if they are approaching. Also, I wanted some backup lights (or rear work lights). During my research I came across this light bar that does all of these things and got me some extra running/brake lights. Excellent. The wiring harness was great but I really didn't know what to expect based on the seller's limited description. Here are the details: you get a rocker switch and an integrated on/off/selector switch. It's up to you which one you want to use. You only use one or the other. I chose the toggle switch as my Wildcat SxS had room to spare. Turning off the power switch (rocker switch or built-in) will turn off the power to the entire panel, even if you have connected brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights. It doesn't matter how you connect them, the power button turns everything off. I wasn't expecting this, but it still worked well for my setup. You have to remember that. The toggle switch/built-in switch also controls the blinking of the amber lights OR turns them off. Just one quick press and they'll turn on (if they were off) and each press thereafter will cycle through the flashing patterns. There are quite a few. If you press and hold the button for three seconds, the amber flashing lights will turn off completely until you press the button again. Pretty cool. The second harness is for left turn/right turn/brake/white lights. I didn't use turn signal wires - I just connected mine to the brakes and reverse lights. The brake lights only make the outer red running lights brighter while you press the brake pedal. When you connect a turn signal wire, the corresponding red light comes on brightly, then goes out for a few seconds when you disconnect the wire, which makes sense if you're connecting to a turn signal. I just taped them over as I won't be using turn signals in this setup. Important note: The red running lights are always on when the switch is on. There is no way to turn them off. This is fine in my setup, but others may have trouble with it. Also, to reiterate what I said before, when you turn off the power switch (rocker switch or line) NO lights come on at all - no turn signals, no reverse lights, no running lights, nothing. Remember. Again, it worked for my setup. The only "MINUS" for this setup is the length of the wire for the rocker switch. As you can see from her photo, it's less than 2 feet long. I had to lengthen her seat belt to get the dash switch up. Looks like they made it a little longer so you can get to the dash all the way to the tail light bar. My SxS is a 2 seater and didn't even come close. If you have everything in order with the wiring, extending the wiring harness is easy. Bonus points - The rocker switch is solid. This makes it easier to find when driving at night. Another feature I wasn't expecting, but I'm very happy with this feature! Overall I really like this bar and I can only recommend it. It is now January 2019. If I have any issues with this I will update my review.
