Review on Merrell Unisex-Child Trail Chaser Hiking Sneaker: Durable and versatile footwear for young adventurers by Daniel Pyfer

I bought size 8 for my one year old son who has wide feet. These shoes are well made and have a wide toe box so my son's feet fit well but unfortunately they are difficult to put on. I have to push his foot very hard to get him into the boot. I wish they had wider openings. Now I'm hoping they loosen up once they're broken in, but I think the elastic sewn onto the shoe is preventing it from opening further, so I don't know. I would return them if my son didn't run into the backyard as soon as I put them on him.
