Review on Laptop Adjustable Computer Portable Workstation by Jay Williams

DO NOT BUY! Not worth the time, effort or money.

I recently ordered this item (received it today) and while it fits my Acer Nitro 5 (17.3 inch screen) perfectly, it has a few flaws.1. mousepad. No matter what position you use it in, it will move/tilt towards your elbow when you use it. There's also that pesky little ledge on the edge that moves the mouse as far forward, left, or right as needed, depending on the task. The overall size of the mouse pad is too small for my taste. It has three holes to ensure proper proximity to or from you. In these holes, but not actually held by anything, are nuts. I'm just guessing there were supposed to be 3 but it's hard to tell when I only had 2 and nothing was in the package. The instructions also mention fitting a washer to what is called a star knob, but that's another shock as it rotates without the washers. Legs. Their design and functionality are not at all what you might think given some of the other reviews on this product. These are the buttons with arrows on them. You press buttons and rotate the leg pieces a certain degree. Sounds easy enough until the buttons get stuck and refuse to snap into place. The degrees are also a bit difficult to read and can be a bit confusing as you will find the same numbers on both sides of the 0. If the instructions say 150, you may need to fiddle with it a few times to get it right.3. Stoppers at the edges. They include them to prevent your laptop from touching the edge next to you. The instructions say to place the flat side on the tray and turn it up 90 degrees to set it on. That's not the case. You can just put them on, but be careful. They don't really attach and slip/fall easily when you adjust the legs or tilt the stand in almost any direction except when your laptop is on the stand.4. Strength. As mentioned, I have an Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop that sits perfectly on the stand, but it took me a lot of effort to find a reasonably comfortable position to use the stand in bed. This causes the stand to wobble and tip toward my lap when I'm not actively holding one or both hands on my laptop. I assume your laptop type and size may give different results, but if you have a gaming laptop. FLEE FROM IT! 5. Fan. Honestly, this is the best part of this whole contraption. Overall, this item doesn't even deserve 1 star, but I think it's for a fan. If you're thinking of buying this, don't. I'm sure there are much better products out there than this or anything like it.
